Right there, those three types of debt are reason enough for everyone to stop the Debt Denial and get real about their financial experience. Debt free living is not for everyone - we need debt. Some things are too expensive to purchase outright. We need debt - there just isn't any way around it.

Imagine 100% debt free living

Ok, but lets say you're out of school, you own your home and you use public transportation - a great start for some serious debt free living, right? Well, consider this - you can never use a credit card. You can never look at something that costs more than the cash you have in pocket or in your account - you are now living purely paycheck to paycheck. Which is fine! You can indeed live debt free and be happy doing it, but this brand of debt free living has a was of zapping the fun out of life.

Debt is good

We'd be in some serious Debt Denial if we said all debt was good - but we're pretty sure some debt is a good thing - keep us active, keeps us having fun. Debt free living? Eh! Its alright. Just don;t be alarmed when you have the same bland financial meal day in, day out, for years on end. Debt free living is for zombies.
