• If a debt relief program screams out at you " DEBT FREE IN 30 DAYS" or something like that, don't apply. These things take time, and no matter how good the company will still need to work within the realm of financial reality.

Should you apply at a generic website offering real information and a basic application referring you to some other, larger debt relief program? Sure! You have nothing to lose, and chances are you will probably end up requesting information from that larger company eventually.
